On December 10th, 1904, three friends, Andrew Kroeg, Simon Fogarty, and Harry Mixson came together to form the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity on the principle of Nu Phi, which means "Non-fraternity". Now over 100 years later, the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity has grown to more than 120,000 members!
The Gamma Kappa chapter of Pi Kappa Phi was founded on November 2nd, 1968, and over 50 years and 1000 members later, Pi Kappa Phi still stands as a staple of the Georgia Southern Campus.
